The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) on May 30 held a publicity and education activity for children at the China National Children's Center ahead of International Children's Day which fell on June 1. Shen Yueyue, President of the ACWF, extended greetings to children and paid tribute to children's workers during the activity.

As part of the nation-wide Party-history publicity and education campaign for children initiated by the ACWF on March 29, with the theme of "Always Following the Party," the activity included unveiling a young heroes' sculpture garden, singing revolutionary songs, painting pictures on a long scroll, and holding parent-child activities.
Shen communicated with children during the activity and learned about their resolution to study hard and become qualified socialist builders and successors in the future. Noting that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to and shows great care for children's growth, Shen told the children to keep Grandfather Xi's words in mind and follow the Party's leadership from childhood.
When visiting the statues of young heroes in the revolutionary period, Shen said that they made great contributions to national independence and the people's liberation, and she urged children to learn from the impressive stories of the young heroes and be good children in the new era.

During a Party-history story-telling meeting, children gave performances, including telling stories, reciting poems and sharing books, to sing the praises of the Party and pay their respects to heroes and role models.
Shen encouraged children to learn more about the histories of the Party, New China, the reform and opening-up, and socialist development, cherish their happy lives, and become young people capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation, and those who have all-round moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetical grounding with a hard-working spirit in the future.
Shen stressed further implementing the publicity and education campaign, and guiding children to learn from revolutionaries' heroic deeds and revolutionary spirit through their stories, to eulogize the century-old glorious process and achievements of the CPC, to boost their love for the Party and their patriotism, and to pass on the revolutionary spirit from generation to generation.
